I use a round cookie cutter and a pencil to draw a circle on the bottoms of some items I need to wax. It helps to keep my wax where I want it instead of free-handing it! I also switched to a color wax.

If you're making pottery as a small business, you may need some bookkeeping/accounting help. I wrote this book and it may help you.

Where else do I sell my stuff?

I'm a member of the Clayworker's Guild of Illinois. They have a store in Woodstock IL where I rent space and sell some of my work. Click on the store name for more info.

I also have a shop on Etsy, where I sell some of my pottery, along with other items. More pottery will be added as I make it.
The bowl in the photo was done in a Raku firing at my local community college, which is a very unique way of firing pottery. The bottom is a metallic green & black, looks like it's burnt. See my Etsy shop for all the photos.
